Monwnews.com, Novel sejarah Warisan 3 Kerajaan karya Bud Murdono yang mengangkat sejarah kerajaan Sunda dan Galuh berdasarkan naskah Pangeran Wangsakerta, penting untuk diperkenalkan ke tengah masyarakat pembaca, khususnya mahasiswa sastra dan sejarah.
Abidin Fikri Pandjialam Foundation sangat antusias dan mensupport bersama penerbit Kiblat untuk menerbitkan Novel Sejarah ini dengan alasan sebagai berikut:
1. Sejarah Sunda, khususnya yang dimuat dalam naskah Pangeran Wangsakerta, sempat mengundang polemik di kalangan sejarawan Indonesia, seperti yang terangkum dalam buku Polemik Naskah Wangsakerta karya Ayatrohaedi.
2. Kisah Sanjaya, tokoh novel ini yang merupakan pendiri Kerajaan Medang dan mewarisi darah kebangsawanan dari 3 kerajaan: Sunda, Galuh, dan Kalingga; tentu saja menjadi
figur menarik untuk dibicarakan.
3. Penulisan novel-novel berlatar sejarah Sunda perlu didukung untuk lebih mengakrabkan sejarah kepada masyarakat.
Sinopsis Buku:
Memudarnya kekuasaan Tarumanegara pada abad ke-7 membuat kekuasaan raja-raja Tanah Jawa menjadi terpecah-pecah. Kerajaan Sunda dan Galuh menegaskan eksistensinya sendiri-
sendiri. Sementara itu, Kerajaan Kalingga juga memudar kejayaannya karena ekspansi kerajaan
Sriwijaya. Pada masa itulah muncul Sanjaya, yang mewarisi darah kebangsawanan dari 3 kerajaan Sunda, Galuh, dan Kalingga.
Ambisinya untuk menyatukan Jawadwipa membawa dirinya dalam
riwayat jatuh-bangunnya kerajaan-kerajaan di Jawa, hingga dirinya mendirikan Kerajaan Medang di Bhumi Mataram.
Inilah kisah perjalanan hidup tokoh-tokoh sejarah yang berhadapan dengan nafsu kekuasaan dari tokoh-tokoh lainnya.
Kisah tentang ambisi yang membakar seperti api, tapi juga kebijaksanaan yang mengalir seperti air, kesetiaan yang merangkul, dan pengkhianatan yang menikam dari belakang.
Ada cinta yang murni, ada juga perselingkuhan yang menusuk hati. Persahabatan yang tumbuh, namun juga permusuhan yang terpendam
